Type: Full-time Employee (W-2) position
Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
Residence: Current U.S. residence and within U.S for 3 of the past 5 years.
Location: 100% United States (U.S.) Based Remote with ALL being performed within the U.S.
Trail Pass: U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Cyber Cloud Security Engineers to join our growing team! This role is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive transition of networks and applications, ensuring compliance with various federal directives and security standards. In this high-impact role, you’ll provide technical expertise on computer security laws, mandates, standards, and policies in accordance with FISMA and NIST SPs.

Basic Requirements:
- 4+ years of technical experience designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or other related fields
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND RESIDE IN THE U.S. All work must be performed in the U.S.
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as this work is for a federal government client. Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work. Nothing in applicants’ history should prevent them from obtaining a public trust security clearance.
Description:
Designs, implements, and optimizes secure cloud and network architectures in multi-cloud environments, bridging enterprise-level strategy with hands-on DevSecOps execution. Provides technical expertise in integrating zero-trust principles, network automation, and multi-cloud security controls into scalable cloud platforms. Works closely with strategists and DevSecOps teams to translate security strategy into operationalized, automated solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Translate cloud security strategies into detailed designs for multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Engineer and implement zero-trust architectures with secure networking (VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, load balancers, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Build automation pipelines for network and security provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD workflows.
- Optimize cloud environments for compliance (FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA) and DHS-specific security requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and DevSecOps to ensure designs are cost-optimized, scalable, and secure.
- Provide technical depth in multi-cloud network security and automation, ensuring operational resilience.
Required Skills:
- Strong foundation in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Deep knowledge of zero-trust and cloud-native security frameworks.
- Familiarity with SDN/NFV for cloud-scale networking.
- Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or Security Specialty
- Azure Security Engineer or Network Engineer Associate
- GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate / Red Hat Ansible Automation
- CISSP or CCSP
