Type: Full-time Employee (W-2) position
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience.
Residence: Current U.S. residence and within U.S for 3 of the past 5 years. 
Location: 100% United States (U.S.) Based Remote with ALL being performed within the U.S.
Trail Pass: U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

About the Role:

The Senior ServiceNow Developer leads the solutioning of locally developed applications (LDAs) and provides expert guidance to citizen developers. This role is responsible for leading integrations with external sources, managing the movement of ServiceNow components in the CI/CD pipeline, and performing custom application development. The ideal candidate is a team player with client-facing business acumen and strong experience in ITSM, integrations, and scoped applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the solutioning and development of locally developed applications (LDAs).

• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to citizen developers.

• Lead and execute integrations with external systems.

• Manage the movement of ServiceNow Components, Collections, and Deployables in the CI/CD pipeline.

• Implement, integrate, configure, and develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.

• Work with the ServiceNow Architect to perform code reviews, provide proofs of concept, and facilitate product demonstrations.

• Perform development activities including troubleshooting, coding/scripting, and configurations of high complexity.

• Map existing business services and requirements to advanced ServiceNow capabilities.

• Administer, deploy, implement, and manage USCIS systems and PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS platforms using a privileged user account.

Requirements:

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, ITSM, and scoped applications.

• Strong team player with client-facing business acumen.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in a ServiceNow environment.

• Experience with custom application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is preferred, but not required.

Basic Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical experience designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher 
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND RESIDE IN THE U.S. All work must be performed in the U.S.
• Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as this work is for a federal government client. Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work. Nothing in applicants’ history should prevent them from obtaining a public trust security clearance.
