Trail Pass: U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust clearance

About the Role

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer – Infrastructure Deployment (Mid-Level) to design, deploy, and support enterprise-class compute and storage infrastructure solutions.
This role focuses on implementing new installations, performing upgrades and integrations, and maintaining scalability and reliability across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings a solid technical foundation in virtualization, storage, and automation—and thrives in a collaborative engineering environment focused on modern infrastructure delivery.


Core Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and configure compute and storage infrastructures to support enterprise systems.
  • Manage and optimize virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Support system installations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations across on-prem and hybrid environments.
  • Develop automation scripts and configuration management routines using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
  • Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning for compute and storage resources.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on solution design and implementation strategies.
  • Document system configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational processes.
  • Ensure security and compliance alignment with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 7–9 years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure deployment.
  • Strong background in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage systems (SAN/NAS).
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible).
  • Experience performing infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and integrations in enterprise settings.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship required (Public Trust eligibility).

Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • AWS or Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Experience supporting federal or large-scale enterprise modernization projects.
