Compensation: $90K-$110K depending on experience

- Be a U.S. Citizen.
- Currently reside within the United States.
- Have lived within the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust clearance.
Your Route Into DevSecOps
At Via Logic, we believe quality engineering is more than just testing - it’s about building confidence, reliability, and resilience into every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). We’re looking for a Quality/Test Engineer who is passionate about automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement while also eager to grow into broader Full Stack DevSecOps responsibilities over time. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineers, stakeholders, and fellow Quality Engineers to improve testing strategies, strengthen deployment confidence, support cloud-native applications, and help ensure mission-critical systems remain reliable and production-ready.This role also serves as a structured growth path into Full Stack DevSecOps engineering, providing exposure to CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, release management, security scanning and remediation, operational support, and modern engineering practices across distributed systems.
Your Mission Today
Quality Engineering & Automation
- Drive quality initiatives throughout the SDLC from requirements through production support.
- Design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions that support scalable and repeatable delivery practices.
- Validate code quality, integration readiness, and release stability prior to Production deployment.
- Support functional, regression, integration, and reliability testing efforts across multiple environments.
- Contribute to automated CI/CD testing workflows that reduce manual intervention and improve deployment confidence.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams to define and uphold quality standards.
- Coordinate testing dependencies across teams and support successful release readiness activities.
- Translate business and technical requirements into measurable validation strategies.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, troubleshooting sessions, and collaborative problem-solving efforts.
- Serve as a trusted partner to engineers and product stakeholders by helping identify issues early and supporting scalable solutions.
Reliability & Operational Support
- Support quality improvements for distributed and event-driven systems.
- Assist with production support and operational troubleshooting when needed.
- Contribute to system reliability initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Help improve internal tooling and automation workflows that increase engineering efficiency and team velocity.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or related engineering roles.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and modern SDLC practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments.
- Understanding of API testing, integration testing, regression testing, and release validation practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, adapt quickly, and contribute within fast-moving technical environments.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- AWS or cloud platform exposure.
- Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling and security scanning practices.
- Exposure to event-driven systems such as Kafka.
- Experience with scripting or development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience supporting production environments and operational troubleshooting efforts.

How We Work
- This is a client-facing role that includes virtual collaboration and occasional customer interaction.
- Team members are expected to actively engage through Slack, Teams, email, Monday.com, and other collaboration tools during standard business hours.
- Availability for meetings and collaboration between 9AM–5PM EST is expected.
- Cameras on during virtual meetings is part of our collaborative culture.
