WHAT YOU’LL DO

The VP, CTV Product will lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of Viant’s Connected TV (CTV) Demand-Side Platform (DSP) capabilities. This leader is responsible for building a best-in-class CTV buying experience that fully integrates publisher partnerships, identity signals, and core DSP infrastructure into a scalable, differentiated platform.

Working closely with DSP Product & Engineering, Technical Account Management, and CTV Publisher Partnerships, this executive will translate ecosystem complexity; identity, metadata, inventory access, APIs, and publisher innovations into intuitive, high-performance DSP workflows for advertisers.

This role requires deep DSP expertise, strong technical acumen, and the ability to guide multi-year CTV product strategy in a rapidly evolving market.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Own the long-term vision and roadmap for Viant’s CTV DSP capabilities, translating market trends, identity advancements, and supply dynamics into a differentiated product strategy.
  • Lead development of CTV-specific DSP features including targeting, inventory access, forecasting, bidding, optimization, measurement, reporting, APIs, and UI enhancements.
  • Partner closely with core DSP Product & Engineering teams to define scalable architecture, integrate new identity signals and metadata, and ensure platform readiness for growing CTV complexity and demand.
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Management and CTV Publisher Partnerships to incorporate publisher integrations, identity data match solutions, IRIS_ID, direct inventory, and clean supply signals into standardized DSP workflows.
  • Serve as the primary CTV product voice in cross-functional prioritization, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Revenue leadership.
  • Engage advertisers and agencies to validate product requirements and ensure usability, performance, and measurable value remain central to all CTV capabilities.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to support product launches, sales enablement, demos, and competitive positioning.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing CTV product management team while establishing disciplined product development processes and execution standards.

GREAT TO HAVE

  • 10–15+ years of product management experience in ad tech, CTV, DSPs, or data-driven advertising platforms.
  • Deep understanding of DSP architecture, real-time bidding, inventory integrations, data pipelines, and CTV buying mechanics.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-signal product features at scale.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to engage at the architecture and infrastructure level.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally across engineering, supply, identity, and go-to-market teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Base compensation range: $200,000 - $250,000
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.  Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
