Revenue Operations Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Viant is seeking a strategic and data-driven Revenue Operations Manager to help scale and optimize our go-to-market engine. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence across pipeline management, forecasting, compensation, and performance analytics. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how revenue is planned, measured, and executed across the organization.

You will act as a trusted advisor to GTM leaders, bringing structure, insights, and rigor to decision-making while proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and drive growth. From designing scalable compensation plans to enhancing our reporting infrastructure and tech stack, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our revenue organization operates with precision and clarity.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

Revenue Operations Leadership

  • Partner with Director of Revenue Operations to own and evolve core RevOps processes including pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and deal execution.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership to ensure pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and a consistent operating cadence. 
  • Serve as a trusted operational advisor to GTM leaders, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Design, build, and maintain variable compensation plans that align sales outcomes with company objectives.
  • Manage MBOs, SPIFFs, and STIPs; assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Data, Systems & Tooling

  • Own data accuracy, governance, and hygiene across Salesforce and the broader GTM tech stack, including Highspot and Gong.
  • Build and maintain reporting infrastructure to support compensation, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Partner with Systems and IT to streamline workflows, improve automation, and scale tools as the business grows.
  • Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets capabilities to analyze, qualify, and visualize large data sets into clear business insights.
  • Evaluate and implement tools, including AI-enabled solutions, that enhance revenue workflows and productivity.

Analytics & Insights

  • Develop and oversee dashboards and reporting for pipeline, performance, compensation, and revenue trends.
  • Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Establish consistent metrics, reporting standards, and data definitions to support data-driven decision-making.

Cross-Functional GTM Alignment

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across the full revenue lifecycle.
  • Support agency partnerships, deal approval workflows, and commission-related processes.
  • Influence and drive outcomes across departments, even without direct authority.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring strong communication, operational rigor, and change management.
  • Establish scalable processes, documentation, and best practices to support a growing GTM organization.
  • Continuously identify creative, outside-the-box solutions to improve efficiency and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Management Consulting or a related function.
  • Direct experience designing and managing variable compensation plans.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce reporting; experience with Highspot and Gong required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills, with exceptional data analysis and visualization capabilities.
  • Proven ability to partner with sales leaders and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in AdTech or a DSP environment preferred.

Base compensation range: $110,000 - $125,000 + Bonus & Equity
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.  Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
