Senior Manager, Demand Generation

Chicago, IL

About Vibes

Vibes is reinventing the messaging ecosystem. You probably get dozens of brand communications every day — most of them aren't interesting, don't make you love the brand more, or improve the service you receive. That's about to change. RCS is an exciting new messaging channel that delivers the richness of an app through the ubiquity of your phone's native messaging — no download required.

Vibes has been shaping mobile engagement since the advent of text messaging, routing billions of messages per month and guiding innovation across the industry. We hold one of only four coveted Tier-1 DCA spots for RCS — which means we're not just watching this shift happen, we're driving it. If you want to be part of a team building the next era of brand-to-consumer communication, this is the place.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for a Demand Gen practitioner who wants to lead the practice for a growth stage SaaS company. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you'll own strategy and execution end-to-end — from campaign architecture and pipeline targets to day-to-day program delivery. This person will be an individual contributor with autonomy to create the strategy and drive results, a direct line to senior leadership, and the opportunity to build something that matters at a company on the edge of a major market shift.

We're looking for someone who's been a standout executor and is ready to take on a larger role — someone who wants to own outcomes, not just tasks. You'll shape how Vibes goes to market, influence pipeline directly, and contribute to an exciting growth story.

What You'll Own

Strategy & Pipeline

  • Own quarterly and annual MQL and pipeline targets — and drive the strategy to hit them
  • Lead target account selection and ABM program design in close partnership with sales and marketing teammates
  • Maintain a continuous focus on improving pipeline conversion metrics, qualified lead volume, and account targeting effectiveness
  • Track and report on program performance, making data-driven recommendations to the VP of Marketing and broader leadership team
  • Stay current on Demand Gen trends in an AI-first, agent-led world and translate insights into actionable adjustments for Vibes

Campaign Execution

  • Serve as the hands-on owner of marketing campaign execution across paid advertising (Google, LinkedIn), email, SEO/SEM, webinars, and content syndication
  • Build and manage automated nurture programs and one-off campaigns in HubSpot, including writing the emails yourself
  • Launch campaigns, landing pages, and new resources on the Vibes website; learn and use Webflow for hands-on website management as part of a small, nimble team
  • Lead relationships with external consultants supporting SEM, SEO, and content syndication

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with sales AEs on demand generation strategies, target account selection, and daily execution
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and agency vendors
  • Represent demand gen in cross-functional planning conversations with clear data and well-reasoned points of view

What You Bring

  • 6–10 years of hands-on, strategic & tactical demand generation experience — 4+ years in B2B required, B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ownership of MQL and pipeline targets, with a track record of building and optimizing programs inside a marketing automation platform (HubSpot strongly preferred; Marketo or Pardot also relevant)
  • Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn, including budget management and performance optimization
  • Data fluency: you're comfortable in dashboards, can build a performance report, and make decisions from metrics — not gut alone
  • ABM experience or strong familiarity with account-based strategies and sales-marketing alignment in a B2B context
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems proactively
  • Confident making recommendations and selling through your ideas
  • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM fundamentals and experience managing agency or consultant relationships in those areas
  • AI-literate: you understand how AI tools are reshaping demand gen and are actively incorporating them into your workflow
  • Highly organized and self-directed — you manage multiple programs without dropping balls, and you flag issues early
  • Comfortable in a lean environment where you wear multiple hats, move fast, and figure things out

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Webflow or a comparable CMS
  • Familiarity with content syndication platforms (e.g., Bombora, TechTarget, Integrate)
  • Background in martech, mobile, or messaging industries

Our Core Values

At Vibes, how we work is as important as what we build. We operate by six principles:

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000–$150,000 annually, depending on experience. Vibes offers a full benefits package including competitive equity, medical/dental/vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 11 paid holidays, flexible vacation, commuter benefits, 401(k) with company match, and paid parental leave.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
