Vibrant is looking for a Head of Product to lead innovation and continued development of our mobile wallet. This involves conducting user research and competitive analysis, developing and owning a roadmap, gaining alignment from key stakeholders, and executing on the roadmap. You will be the voice of the user and the advocate for the product at the executive level, working closely with other leaders to make Vibrant successful. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Build and Own Product Roadmap: Own the development of the product vision and the strategic roadmap for future development, aligned with the company's long-term goals.
  • Advocate for Users: Act as the primary advocate for users in various markets by staying informed on local changes and keeping the Vibrant team updated through:
    • Leading the Vibrant Product team day-to-day (inclusive of product management, product strategy, and UX research).
    • Close collaboration with the customer support team.
    • Regular syncs with local partners.
    • Conducting competitive analysis research and periodic user feedback sessions.
    • Networking with industry peers to gain deeper insights into local user behaviors and market trends.
  • Develop Global Product Strategy: Develop a global product structure aimed at future expansion, which could include:
    • Integrating additional global ramp networks.
    • Building and implementing revenue-generating features.
    • Establishing a long-term product roadmap with a focus on user retention.
    • Maintaining awareness of feature parity with competitor products.
    • Localizing the app by adapting the product to local market needs, ensuring features are culturally relevant and accessible.
  • Participate in Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with marketing, engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure Product initiatives align with business goals and market needs.
  • Innovate and Iterate on Features: Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new features to drive user growth, revenue, and retention.
  • Build Revenue Generation Strategies: Developing strategies for monetizing the wallet, such as transaction fees, cross-border remittances, and partnerships with local businesses.
  • Monitor and Own Product Performance: Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as user retention, transaction volumes, and revenue to guide future product developments and initiatives.
  • Implement User-Centric Design: Ensure a seamless user experience by integrating feedback from UX research, customer support, and beta testing into product iterations.
  • Manage Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary communicator of Product initiatives, progress, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop Partnerships: Foster relationships with global and regional partners, including ramp providers and other payment networks, to enhance product functionality and market reach.

You have:

  • 8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in fintech or payments
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ people (including product, design, engineering)
  • Technical background, ideally with past experience as a software engineer, data scientist, or a technical degree
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling early stage financial products
  • Excellence in business case development and go-to-market strategy
  • Experience leading user research and customer feedback implementation
  • Work experience in digital payments in Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and/or Mexico
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
  • Experience with financial regulations and compliance requirements (KYC, AML, data privacy, etc.)
  • Experience as a company founder
  • Leadership of a mobile product
  • Working proficiency in Portuguese
