MORTGAGE LOAN POST CLOSER

Job Summary

We are seeking a  Mortgage Loan Post Closer who is committed to contribute to the organization's profitability by previewing each closed loan file to prepare for shipping for investor purchases. To provide exceptional customer service by conducting business with integrity and in a highly ethical manner.

These skills will be used to:

  • Organize, review, and upload all paper and electronic loan documents in preparation for shipping.
  • Distribute loan documents to investors and mortgage insurance companies for review and funding in a timely and organized manner.
  • Review and manage funding suspense and obtain resolution from the appropriate internal personnel.
  • Submit government loan files for insuring. Resolve any issues with insuring of loans such as NORs from FHA. Obtains evidence of insurance as appropriate and loads to electronic loan folder.
  • Reviews reports for rate lock expirations to ensure the tasks are completed by the expiration deadline.
  • Escrow holdback post close tracking – receives requests from the seller with a final certificate of occupancy and orders final inspections for verification of escrow release. Request release once all documentation has been received and placed in loan file.
  • Post-closing documentation tracking, collection, and distribution to appropriate investors – filed original mortgage and final title policy.

Must have requirements:

  • Experience in the Mortgage industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong detail-oriented skills

Physical demands and work environment:

  • Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
  • Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
