MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER ASSISTANT

Job Summary

As a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant in our Dayton division, you will partner with a Mortgage Loan Officer Elite Coach to experience and participate in world-class training that will provide the skills to lead and facilitate mortgage loan closings. In this role, you will receive a combination of on-the-job training and mortgage courses to learn prospecting, building relationships, and the loan process.

  • Navigate a great deal of change, pressure, and shifting priorities to accomplish your goals.

These skills will be used to:

  • Successfully follow and complete the loan closing process for all transactions.
  • Participate in the training conducted by the Mortgage Loan Officers in order to understand the loan process for Victory Mortgage.
  • Assist the Mortgage Loan Officers with new and updated files, which includes gathering borrower documents and updating closing dates.
  • Understand and comply with mortgage industry regulations.
  • Successfully prepare and obtain your NMLS license.
  • Lead and facilitate loan closings for our Columbus division.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Highly motivated individual.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • No mortgage experience is necessary. We will train you!

Physical demands and work environment:

  • Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
  • Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
