Note: This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates outside the DMV area must confirm their willingness to relocate if ever required for occasional on-site work (2-3 days)—although this is highly unlikely, as the work has historically been fully remote, even pre-COVID.
Viderity is looking for an experienced Okta Developer to join our team and play a key role in identity and access management (IAM) and zero trust. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to customize and deploy IAM solutions, ensuring robust access control across applications, infrastructure, APIs, and cloud services. This role involves resolving technical challenges, implementing Okta, and shaping our target IAM architecture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in the world of identity and access management and zero trust. Interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to delve into the details and dependencies of critical processes
- Customizes and deploys Access Management Product and Identity Management product
- Implements target IAM architecture and access control on applications, infrastructure, API and on Cloud services
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
Required Skills:
- Experience with engineering IAM systems
- Experience with implementing Okta
- Knowledge of emerging authentication, authorization and privilege access management technologies and protocols
- Experience with Identity and Access Management platforms, including Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity/ForgeRock, as well as OpenID, OAuth and SAML specifications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting large-scale access management solutions
- Okta Certified Admin and/or Okta Certified Professional
- Experience developing migration guides and user job aids in support of Okta implementation
- Experience with software development and working in an agile delivery team
- Knowledge of Enterprise Directory architecture
- Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST 800-63
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary range: Salary Range: $120,000-130,000
