About the job:
The Project Manager will deliver management and supervisory services to all Contractor personnel and shall manage all projects and tasks assigned to them.
Responsibilities:
- The PM will serve as an education coordinator, responsible for fulfilling the Mint’s services described herein related to its educational programs and initiatives.
- The expected split in hours is one-third for project management duties and two-thirds time spent on education efforts.
- The coordinator will draft, edit, and prepare educational content that supports Mint strategic objectives, conforms to appropriate national standards for relevant subject areas, and is grade-level appropriate for target Mint audiences
- Education tasks include but are not limited to engaging with internal/external stakeholders; managing the Mint’s public education inbox; developing online educational content and printed materials with the support of a graphic designer; developing educational videos with the support of the videographer; and managing the Mint’s monthly education newsletter.
- Education duties will be divided roughly in a 50/50 split between general Mint education (agency history, coin collecting, Mint tours, Mint games, current and existing programs, etc.) and new program education to highlight AWQ, SemiQ, Youth Sports, etc.
- The PM is responsible for guiding Contractor staff in their work, providing hands-on management of projects and tasks related to education coordination, video and graphic creation, Spanish-language translation, and other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of teaching, managing an education program, developing, or managing a curriculum, or similar.
- Also required is proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams; excellent communication and collaboration skills; excellent writing and proofreading skills; proven success planning and/or conducting outreach events; and a demonstrated understanding of age-appropriate education levels and basic teaching principles.
