This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.

About the Role:
Viderity is seeking a Program Analyst to support a major research institution's Computing and Communication Foundations (CCF) team. This role involves managing program planning, review processes, and providing administrative support. The Program Analyst will assist in ensuring that program solicitations, logistics, and review processes run smoothly, fostering effective program coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and clearance of program solicitations and management plans.
  • Create communication materials and presentations for Program Officers.
  • Plan logistics for workshops, community meetings, and coordination activities.
  • Manage documents, templates, and timelines for award and decline processing.
  • Organize proposals for peer review panels.
  • Recruit panelists, including identifying new reviewers, managing surveys, and assignment coordination.
  • Provide logistical support for review panels to ensure effective scheduling and documentation.
  • Analyze data from reviews to maintain transparency and fairness in selections.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience managing research projects or teams, ideally in academia or similar settings.
  • Strong analytical capabilities in data management for research administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Experience with collaboration platforms like Outlook, Zoom, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Box, Slack, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a background in scientific writing.
  • Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of research funding and program management in similar environments.
  • Experience with automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools for better program insights.
  • Innovative approach to streamlining administrative and technical processes.

Salary range: Salary Range: $85,000-115,000
