This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.

About the Role:
Viderity is seeking a Program Analyst to support the Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS) unit within a major research institution's Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering. The role involves providing program planning and review management support, assisting with program solicitations, organizing review panels, and coordinating community efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare, staff, and clear solicitations and management plans.
  • Create communication materials for public outreach.
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, meetings, and collaborations.
  • Support award processing by maintaining documents and timelines.
  • Organize proposals for review using institutional tools.
  • Assist in recruiting and managing panelists for reviews.
  • Provide logistical support for review panels to ensure smooth operations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience managing research projects, preferably in academia or federal settings.
  • Strong analytical and data management capabilities for research administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Outlook, Zoom, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Box, Slack, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in scientific writing.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of funding mechanisms, review processes, and research administration at similar institutions.
  • Experience with automation for workflow and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization for program evaluation.
  • Innovative approach to enhancing program management efficiency.

Salary range: Salary Range: $85,000-115,000
