As a People & Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business operations. We are looking for a proactive and innovative person who will put an emphasis on problem solving with a creative approach to building scalable, efficient processes that support our growing organization.

As part of a dynamic operations team, you will be responsible for but not limited to: driving improvements in data preparation and analysis, onboarding, offboarding, technology support, data accuracy and maintenance, customer service and cross-department training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about optimizing operations to improve the overall efficiency of the business. Your attention to detail, ability to think creatively, and aptitude for collaboration will be essential in contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-Day Operations Management:
  • Oversee and manage daily operational tasks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor operational processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Proactively address operational issues as they arise to minimize disruptions.
  1. Problem-Solving & Process Improvement:
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions that increase operational efficiency, reduce redundancy, and align with business objectives.
  1. Process Maintenance and Creation:
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various operational tasks.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine existing processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  1. Data Accuracy:
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in operational processes.
  • Perform regular audits and quality checks to identify and correct discrepancies.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding operational inquiries and issues.
  • Address employee, consultant, and client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Foster clear and consistent communication across teams. Work with cross-functional departments to align goals, share best practices, and address operational challenges.
  1. Data Preparation & Analysis:
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to provide insights that drive informed decision-making. Present findings in clear, actionable formats to support business strategy and decision-making.
  1. Onboarding & Offboarding:
  • Oversee both the internal and external onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. Manage the external offboarding process for clients or partners, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and timely.
  1. Tech Support:
  • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues related to company technology systems. Provide guidance and support to employees to ensure seamless use of internal tools.
  1. Cross-Department Training:
  • Develop and conduct training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge, ensuring employees are equipped with the tools and understanding necessary for success. Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in business operations, preferably in a similar role. (Preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Results-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement and a focus on process optimization
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, draw insights and present findings clearly
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus in addition to base salary

Work Location: On-site, Beverly, MA (5 days a week)

Commute/Relocation Requirement:
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Beverly, MA prior to the start date.
