The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, project management, and a passion for fostering employee engagement.

*Please note, This is a short-term project intended for a temporary assignment for a minimum of 6 months. We would prefer this candidate to be in the NY area, but we will absolutely consider qualified remote candidates who are willing to work East Coast hours.*

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications Lead to develop and implement internal communication plans, ensuring employee awareness, understanding, and participation in company initiatives.

  • Execute project management activities for internal communications initiatives, including creating and managing work plans, timelines, and meeting agendas, and ensuring team members complete action items on time.
  • Measure, report on, and innovate to improve the performance and effectiveness of communication campaigns and channels.
  • Draft and curate content for various internal communications, such as SOTV (monthly company town halls), executive messages, company-wide announcements, and stand-up meetings.
  • Assist with developing internal comms playbooks, templates, systems and processes for overall team success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, HR, or equivalent.
  • Experience at global, public companies operating in multiple countries, bonus if it’s in the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting and/or executing internal communications storytelling efforts (bonus for experience working on diversity and inclusion or social impact initiatives).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including a form of copywriting or editing experience.
  • Video creation and/or editing experience preferred (even better if on Vimeo!).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization including the Executive Leadership Team and their assistants and with global and remote employees.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-impact, high-visibility projects in collaboration with multiple functions and key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, project planning and project management skills; experience building processes and workflows (bonus for demonstrated experience using Asana).
  • Proactive team player with fresh ideas and best practices to ensure “best-in-class” execution of internal communications.
  • Experience with employer branding efforts, global communications, intranet platforms, and the technology industry is a plus.
  • Diplomacy, positivity, keen problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are crucial.
  • Must have experience using Slack and Google Gemini (or ChatGPT or other AI equivalent) in your daily workflow.
