Software Engineer Intern, Library

The Library team is dedicated to creating a seamless, intuitive, and efficient experience for managing all types of content at any scale across Vimeo. As a Vimeo engineering intern, you’ll work closely with product managers and designers to plan, test, and implement innovative features and updates, shaping the future of content consumption.

This full-time, 40-hour per week internship requires an in-office presence Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST. Fridays are remote work days.
What you’ll do:
- Develop high-performance tools that combine scalability with user experience
- Write clean and well-documented code
- Work with Design and Product teams to help move projects from conception to launch
- Grow both technically and professionally in an awesome environment with tons of development opportunities to learn and do more
What we’re seeking:
- You are familiar with one or more of the following: JavaScript, React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, PHP
- You have eye for product design and interactivity, and possess a strong attention to detail
- You are a big picture thinker: you understand how individual parts fit into the whole of a website
- You are problem-solver who is interested in scale, efficiency, and performance optimization
- You are currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, with an expected graduation date of 2025 or 2026

Summer 25’ Vimeo Internship
Alright, let’s be real - you didn’t sign up for an internship just to fetch coffee and sit in on meetings that “could’ve been an email.” You want to learn, contribute, ask big questions and get a front-row seat to how things actually work in a company that thrives on creativity.
From your first day, you will be part of an immersive program that will empower you through hands-on experience, meaningful projects, mentorship, and networking with industry experts. You'll not only tackle real-world problems and gain valuable experience, but you'll also experience what makes being a Vimean so special!
Internship Requirements:
- Duration of Internship: June 2nd - August 1st
- Total of 2 projects including a final capstone presentation
- You will have a Vimean Mentor - a resource across your 8 weeks!
- MUST BE a Rising Junior or Rising Senior; enrolled in an undergraduate degree
This is a paid internship.
Hourly Range: $30.00 - $35.00
