Business Development Manager (CHN)

Role
The Manager/Senior Manager, NBD, APAC position entails the responsibility of spearheading revenue growth within APAC on the VIOOH platform. The suitable candidate for this role should possess a proven track record in client engagement, sales, and key account management. Additionally, experience in collaborating with Brands, media agencies and commercial arms of DSPs is indispensable, as this position will entail frequent partnership engagements with both local and international counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Development Director, China, to identify and harness both China outbound, inbound and APAC programmatic DOOH advertising prospects from brands and media agencies.
- Foster relationships with brands, agency contacts, and DSPs to instill trust and explore broader business prospects.
- Enhance the output from existing clients and expand into new international markets where applicable.
- Provide comprehensive and timely feedback to the company to optimize client service.
- Work in concert with the wider VIOOH Demand team and internal units to ensure seamless proposal delivery.
- Contribute to training, sharing, and marketing preparations while closely collaborating with the marketing team to enhance marketing efforts.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and campaign monitoring to ensure smooth campaign activation.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience is required in selling local and international digital/programmatic/branding advertising campaigns to Chinese and regional media agencies / brands.
- A proven sales track record demonstrating meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Proficiency in collaborating with brands, media agencies and DSPs.
- Have solid existing relationships with outbound clients from Consumer Electronics, Home appliances, or Electronic vehicles.
- Sound understanding of performance media or branding media, encompassing knowledge on Electric Vehicles, Consumer Electronics, Gaming, and eCommerce verticals.
- Interest in the advancement of OOH within a digitised and rapidly evolving programmatic channel.
- A self-starter with good adaptability, a growth mindset, and the ability to drive initiatives from inception.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (oral and written). Proficiency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
- A team player with meticulous work ethic, patience, and resilience.
