Position Overview:

A Senior Media Buyer oversees the day to day responsibilities within the Paid Media Team. The Senior Media Buyer will report to our Paid Media Manager and will be responsible for running digital campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Programmatic, etc).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own launching, maintaining and reporting on paid media efforts on paid social, search and programmatic platforms.
  • Responsible for managing communications internally and externally (clients, vendors, media reps).
  • Lead the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of highly effective app install campaigns across various mobile ad networks, social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat), and search engines (e.g., Google).
  • Design, implement, and manage complex programmatic media buying strategies across various DSPs for display, video, native, and audio channels. 
  • Daily monitoring, reporting and optimizing of paid media.
  • Retain quality control and adherence to overall media plan objectives.
  • Prepare and present planning documents and POVs internally and to the client.
  • Compile and analyze marketing and media data to support implementation decisions.
  • Constantly review and optimize the full user journey, to maximize efficiency of each campaign to ensure that targets and goals are being met, or better: surpassed.
  • Work with various departments to obtain buy in and appropriate resources to develop the proposed recommendation.
  • Be able to speak to the media plans and strategies developed.
  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Account Management, Finance and Project Management.
  • Manage day to day team projects, proof junior team member’s work, manage timelines and deliverables for internal teams.
  • Assist with junior staff training to expand their knowledge, experience, and work efficiencies
  • Manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+  years of paid media buying experience at a performance marketing agency.
  • 2+ years of direct client communication is a strong nice-to-have.
  • Must have an understanding of paid media both on a qualitative and quantitative aspect.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and scaling large-scale app install campaigns for mobile applications.
  • Extensive hands-on experience planning, executing, and optimizing programmatic campaigns across various DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, MediaMath, Xandr, Yahoo DSP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of various ad formats and creative specifications within the programmatic landscape (display, video, native, audio).
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google/ Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with managing workflows through project management software such as monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, etc.
  • Must have a strong eye for creative and overall marketing trends.
  • High level accountability of managing timelines and deliverables.
  • High level understanding of data/analytics and how they function within all marketing efforts.
  • Have a strong understanding of marketing best practices, testing methodology, and optimization.
  • Fluent English: speaking and writing
