Our Recruiting Team is seeking a driven Recruiter to help us build our firm with exceptional talent across all levels, from seasoned professionals to top-tier graduates. In this role, you'll help drive recruitment for leading firm initiatives, finding new and effective ways to source key talent, build lasting relationships with top agencies and candidates and work closely across various teams and hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and people skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Most importantly, you'll have strategic influencing skills to close top candidates and a recruiter's drive to win the best talent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of recruitment experience within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape in financial services recruitment and compensation
  • Proven experience with offer negotiations (required)
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility when direction changes
  • Strong drive for success within a collaborative, results-oriented team environment

Areas of Focus  

  • Manage full lifecycle of recruitment for full-time hires 
  • Research and implement creative candidate sourcing initiatives while expanding relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Assist in developing competitive compensation proposals with deep understanding of market rates, incentives, and benefits
  • Represent Virtu at university events and career fairs (requires occasional travel throughout the year)
