Women's Winternship

This January, we will host our annual Women's Winternship at Virtu's EU Headquarters in Dublin. Our Winternship programme offers students an exciting inside view into the world of global trading and the impact Virtu has on the global financial markets. As a Wintern, you will learn about how we trade at Virtu, our technology and trading tools and even work on your own trading project - all while mentored by experts in the industry.

  • One week programme, from 6th to 10th January 2025, which will be hosted in our Dublin office
  • Each day will be a combination of lectures, and fun programming challenges and activities
  • Engaging social events to get to know our team and culture
  • A final group contest

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional female talent at second and third year level
  • Excellent academic background (all subjects welcome)
  • Outstanding quantitative problemā€solving skills and mathematical aptitude
  • Some programming experience (Python preferred)
  • A highly motivated team player: Genuine, well rounded, curious, collaborative person who can work towards collective goals
  • Interest in a career in financial services

 

THE PROCESS

After applicants pass an initial resume screening, an online programming and/or aptitude test may be sent via email. After which, we will contact you to arrange interviews.
