Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new features across our Visia's engineering services such as our client-facing web and mobile apps, computer vision data pipeline, and IoT software
• Collaborate with other engineers to write well-documented and maintainable code that supports our mission of building technology for a greener future
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to Visia's overall product roadmap, helping to shape the future of recycling and green tech

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time work experience in Software Engineering and a passion for using technology to drive positive change
• Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, TypeScript, Go or similar languages
• General knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with at least one of the following is a major plus:
  
  • Building and scaling data streaming pipelines
  • Computer Vision and MLOps
  • Web/Mobile app development
  • Data science, engineering, and visualization
  • Backend and systems engineering
