We're looking for an experienced Platform Product Management Director to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the foundational elements of our platform, directly impacting our ability to innovate, scale, and deliver a secure and reliable experience for our users.

What will you do...

As a Platform Product Management Director focusing on Infrastructure & Core Services, you'll be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of critical platform areas, including:

  • Infrastructure: Define and prioritize initiatives to enhance our underlying infrastructure, ensuring it's reliable, efficient, and cost-effective. This includes areas like cloud services optimization, containerization, and foundational data storage solutions.
  • Scalability: Drive efforts to ensure our platform can seamlessly grow with our user base and evolving demands. You'll identify bottlenecks, define performance metrics, and work with engineering to implement solutions that support sustained growth.
  • Permissions & Security: Own the product vision for our access control systems and platform security features. You'll balance user experience with robust security measures, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Alerts & Notifications: Develop and optimize our internal and external alerting and notification systems, ensuring timely and actionable communication for both system health and user-facing events.

You'll operate with a high degree of independence, leading by example and potentially guiding other team members. Your work will involve:

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of technical challenges, market trends, and user needs to inform product decisions.
  • Defining clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for complex platform features.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and iteration.
  • Communicating product strategies, roadmaps, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identifying and driving innovative product, process, or technical changes that positively impact the entire organization.

What do you bring...

  • Advanced understanding of platform technologies, including cloud computing, distributed systems, and modern architectural patterns.
  • 6 to 10 years of extensive experience in Product Management, preferably with a focus on platform security-related product strategy.
    • Familiarity with enterprise security tools & standards (e.g. Okta, ADFS, SCIM, SSO).
  • Proven expertise in resolving complex technical and product challenges through creative and effective solutions.
  • Ability to independently manage projects and technical assignments of large/complex scope, translating strategic objectives into actionable deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate variable factors and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A champion of innovation, always looking for ways to improve products, processes, and technical capabilities.

The base pay range for this position in the $120.000 - $160.000/year + bonus.

Benefits and working arrangements may vary depending on your seniority, location and employment type. The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
