We have ambitious goals and are expanding our remote team with an eye towards new sales enablement products and technologies for our customers. We are looking for more team members who care passionately about doing a thing right and then seeing how to make it even better. 

This role is hybrid. Generally, three days a week will be spent working out of our New York City office in Midtown Manhattan.

What you can expect as a Director of Partnerships at Visiting Media:

In this role you will develop and expand Visiting Media’s strategic relationships with hospitality technology platforms, software providers, and industry organizations. Your strong background in the hospitality industry and in-depth understanding of hotel operations will be crucial as the partnerships point person for Visiting Media. We anticipate some of your overall responsibilities to be: 

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with complementary hospitality technology platforms, such as property management systems (PMS), customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, booking engines, and other industry-specific tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of partner technologies into Visiting Media’s solutions, enhancing value for our mutual customers.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment between partnership initiatives and company objectives.
  • Communicate partner feedback to product teams to help shape the product roadmap.
  • Leverage partnerships to expand Visiting Media’s reach, tapping into new customer segments and markets.
  • Act as a Visiting Media ambassador at industry events, tech forums, and conferences, building strong relationships with key players in the hospitality tech ecosystem.
  • Work with partners to co-develop solutions that address emerging needs in the hospitality industry, ensuring Visiting Media remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to design and execute joint go-to-market strategies, driving shared business growth through partnerships.
  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with technology partners, ensuring mutual success and ongoing collaboration.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships and regularly report on progress and impact to the Executive Leadership Team.

What previous experience will likely set you for success:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on technology, operations, or business development.
  • Proven success in building and managing strategic partnerships with technology providers, preferably within the hospitality or SaaS industries.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality technology solutions, including PMS, CRS, RMS, and other relevant tools.
  • Established network of connections within the hospitality tech ecosystem, including software vendors, consultants, and industry associations.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for collaboration that align with Visiting Media’s mission and deliver measurable results.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and a variety of other perks. As a partially remote company we’ll help ensure you have the tools needed to work from wherever you are. Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $175,000 - $195,000 annually depending on the experience you bring.
