Position Overview

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen by cleaning and organizing dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas.

Essential Job Duties ***************HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA IS REQUIRED, FLUENT IN ENGLISH, MUST PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND
- Dish and Utensil Cleaning: Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using automated dishwashers and manual methods.
- Organization and Storage: Properly sort, dry, and store all clean items to ensure they are readily available for kitchen staff use.
- Kitchen and Station Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and wiping down work surfaces.
- Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, break down boxes, and properly dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times.
Secondary Duties:
- Support for Kitchen Staff: Assist with basic food preparation tasks and perform additional duties as requested by chefs or managers. Assist with receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.
- Kitchen Equipment Maintenance: Clean and detail kitchen equipment, including fryers, tilt skillets, grills, and flat-top stoves. Monitor and report any issues with dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment.
- Closing Duties: Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen.
Education: HS Diploma
Experience: 1 year of previous related experience.
Pay Rate: $19 - $21
