
Automotive Service Manager
Vista Auto is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to lead the performance, culture, and customer experience of our Vista Ford Toyota service department in Delta, Colorado.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on operator who can drive fixed operations performance, develop people, and deliver exceptional guest experience while building a strong, accountable team.

Position Overview:
As Service Manager, you will lead all aspects of service department operations, including team development, workflow optimization, and financial performance. You will be responsible for driving key fixed operations metrics while fostering a culture rooted in accountability, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Vista Ford Toyota is a high-opportunity store with strong customer traffic and significant upside for a performance-driven leader. This role requires a strong operator who can balance people leadership, process discipline, and business performance in a fast-paced dealership environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff to achieve performance goals
- Drive daily operations, including workflow, dispatch, and scheduling, to maximize shop productivity and efficiency
- Own and improve key performance metrics, including labor gross, effective labor rate, hours per RO, and departmental profitability
- Championing a customer-first culture that drives CSI, retention, and long-term loyalty
- Partner closely with Sales and Parts leadership to ensure alignment and operational excellence across departments
- Implement and reinforce standardized processes to improve technician efficiency and overall service experience
- Monitor staffing levels, support recruiting efforts, and build a strong bench of talent
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards, company policies, and safety requirements
Who You Are:
- Proven leader with 2+ years of experience as a Service Manager or Service Director in a dealership environment
- Strong operator with a deep understanding of service drive performance, fixed ops KPIs, and technician productivity
- Strong understanding of dealership service operations and OEM processes
- A coach and mentor who builds accountability and develops high-performing teams
- Financially driven with the ability to analyze performance and take action to improve results
- Customer-focused leader who understands the connection between experience, retention, and profitability
- Organized, adaptable, and able to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
