Job Summary
The Branch Director provides leadership and oversight of all hospice patient care services and branch operations. This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational, clinical, and financial performance. The Branch Director leads with integrity and compassion, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered hospice care while supporting organizational goals and standards.

What You’ll Do

Operations

• Lead day-to-day hospice branch operations and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements
• Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate branch staff
• Oversee budget, census, productivity, and financial performance
• Monitor quality metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with internal partners to support patient care and branch goals
• Prepare and present branch performance reports to leadership
• Maintain survey readiness and educate staff on regulatory standards

Patient Care

• Oversee all direct and indirect hospice patient care services
• Provide clinical guidance to Patient Services Coordinators and Clinical Care Managers
• Ensure plans of care are developed, implemented, and updated appropriately
• Ensure accurate, compliant clinical documentation and EMR workflows
• Maintain appropriate staffing, supplies, and equipment
• Provide availability during operating hours to support care delivery and staffing decisions 

What You Bring 

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, preferred
• Three (3) years of management experience in hospice, home health, or related healthcare setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, and operational standards
