Your Role:
Reporting to the Director of Customer Supply Chain, the Customer Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely order processing from entry through fulfillment. This position requires proactive follow-up and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service to both distributor and retail customers.
Success in this role hinges on strong communication and collaboration with teams across Sales, Logistics, and Operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of building strong cross-functional relationships to drive supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for day-to-day order management, including accurate order entry and resolution of exceptions to ensure timely processing through the Order-to-Delivery cycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top customers’ supply chain and buying teams to develop win/win solutions to enhance the overall partnership and deliver exceptional service.
- Supports key customer buying teams with collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment recommendations to ensure optimal order submission and minimize lost sales and spoils.
- Provide strategic insights and contribute to the development and implementation of best-in-class order management and supply chain processes that drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities through key metrics and customer Supply Chain scorecards, develop data-driven recommendations, and execute improvement initiatives.
- Works cross functionally to monitor performance of third-party transportation and warehouse service providers to ensure meeting the expectations of Vital Farms and customers.
- Support customer, supply chain, and other Company projects with confidence, agility, and a proactive mindset toward change.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for customer specific supply chain requirements, with responsibility for driving internal alignment to minimize fees and fines. Leverage customer data to track trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of Consumer Goods or Supply Chain experience or relevant advanced education combination.
- Direct experience with collaborative order management or vendor managed inventory desired.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the skillset to generate insight from data and expect the unexpected
- Ability to travel 10-15% for team meetings, company meetings, and onboarding trips
- Proficiency in utilizing data from a visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships and consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
