Your Role:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Strategy, the Talent Acquisition Manager, Manufacturing is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent across a multi-site manufacturing environment. In this role, you will work in close partnership with the Director of People and Manufacturing leadership team to ensure a streamlined, cohesive approach to staffing strategies, emphasizing talent pipelining and enhancing recruitment processes that align with business goals. The Talent Acquisition Manager will also lead employer branding initiatives, ensure compliance with hiring regulations, and deliver top-tier candidate experiences across the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to support staffing needs across manufacturing operations, including production, engineering, supply chain, quality, and leadership roles.
  • Partner with Plant, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Business leadership to forecast staffing needs and create proactive recruiting pipelines.
  • Lead talent strategies to support the scaling of a new manufacturing environment, including workforce plans and recruitment pipelines.
  • Develop sourcing plans for a multi-site manufacturing organization with a strong understanding of surrounding market landscapes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the manufacturing talent acquisition team to deliver consistent, high-quality recruiting support.
  • Manage and support the full-cycle recruitment process for both high-volume and exempt manufacturing roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Utilize data and metrics to track recruiting performance and improve hiring efficiency.
  • Apply a fact-based, data-driven approach to talent selection, ensuring fair, consistent, and evidence-backed hiring decisions that align with business needs and culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies in recruitment practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as staffing agencies, universities, local community organizations, and trade schools to strengthen community presence.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to align talent acquisition strategies with long-term workforce planning and business growth objectives.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the manufacturing and consumer packaged goods sectors.
  • Research and recommend technology, tools, and process improvements to enhance candidate experience and recruiter efficiency, in partnership with the Talent Operations Specialist.
  • Support crew impact initiatives in recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Central Talent Acquisition Team on broader company programs and talent marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as a culture champion by fostering an inclusive, engaging candidate and employee experience that strengthens our workplace culture and employer brand.
  • Act like an owner and proactively find solutions while offering assistance

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources; HR certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for both high-volume and exempt roles
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity preferred, with a proven ability to develop and mentor recruiting teams.
  • This role is based in Springfield, Missouri, and candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance. The position follows a hybrid work model, with a weekly onsite presence required.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of planning, prioritizing, and executing large-scale hiring initiatives efficiently.
  • Experience recruiting in manufacturing or similar operational environments preferred, with understanding of industry-specific talent needs.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% for team meetings, company onboarding, industry events, career fairs and other business needs
  • Deep expertise in talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, employer branding, and leveraging recruiting technologies (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other ATS platforms).
  • Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement process improvements that drive measurable results.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, dynamic environments without compromising quality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to delivering an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.
