This posting is intended for current Vital Farms employees. If you are not an employee, please visit our careers page to view available opportunities and follow the appropriate application process.

Finding the right place to grow your career isn’t (over) easy, so we’re here to help by sharing a few reasons why the grass is greener at Vital Farms. We think you’ll appreciate our focus on Conscious Capitalism, which drives business decisions that benefit all our stakeholders (leading to even better business results). You might be drawn to our innovative approach and refusal to settle for the “way things have always been done.” Or you could find it exciting to grow your skills while working for an industry-leading brand. Whether you’re into our values, our brand, or our egg-cellent puns, we hope you’ll join our Crew and help us change the world 108 square feet at a time!

At Vital Farms, we’re proud of the diverse communities we serve and the stakeholders who help bring our purpose to life. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where every crew member feels valued. We see this as one of our greatest strengths - and your role is key to helping us build on it.

Your Role:

Efficiency is efficacy when there’s a place for everything and everything is in its place, but you also know the importance of taking a moment to showcase those winning customer service skills. You’re the guru of organization, alphabetization, calendaring, and color coding at work and in your social circle and not shy about it. You can create and upkeep spreadsheets like nobody’s business, while maintaining multiple calendars, and know all the data-dos and data don’ts. When no one noticed that typo or margin error, you did! Why? Because your attention to detail is impeccable.

Vital Farms is looking for a Crew Engagement Coordinator to work at our state-of-the-art production facility, Egg Central Station (ECS). We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and can also see how their day-to-day efforts can create an impact on a much larger scale.

The Vital Farms Crew Engagement Coordinator role is responsible for helping leadership maximize their impact on business results, culture, and organizational effectiveness while caring for our crew. Key responsibilities include providing support for the People Team and members of the ECS Leadership Team; oversee our fleet management; acting as key administrative contact between leadership at all levels; have the ability to think futuristically to get ahead of issues before they arise; frequently relay important information; create methods to organize information; handle routine requests including being able to compose short notes and run daily errands.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the smiling face of Vital Farms both for our visitors and crew members at our egg processing facility (Egg Central Station) in Springfield, MO – you are the go-to for questions and directions.
  • Care deeply about people and service while being committed to meticulously maintaining our fun and friendly workplace, embody honesty and integrity (two of our most important values), and have a keen eye for detail and no tolerance for disorganization.
  • Serve as the main point of contact, planner, and organizer for all site meetings, trainings, conferences, tours, leadership visits, travel, and events - working in partnership with other members of our team to ensure egg-cellent experiences.
  • Ensure vehicle fleet reliability for our traveling crew by overseeing the scheduling, maintenance, and upkeep of company vehicles.
  • Spread joy throughout the community as our Brand Ambassador. Be the ultimate hype person, spreading positivity and excitement with everyone you interact with! From hosting local organizations to building relationships, your mission is to ignite a spark of enthusiasm for Vital Farms in every interaction. Get ready to turn heads, make waves, and leave a lasting impression as you represent us with flair and charisma!
  • Help show our crews some appreciation by organizing crew meals, recognition, and keeping them supplied with snacks.
  • Perform clerical duties as needed, such as sorting and distributing mail, managing office IT issues in partnership with IT, processing monthly credit card expense reports, ordering supplies, UKG support, running reports, maintaining records, managing company-wide meeting room calendar system, filing, photocopying, and collating.
  • Provide supplementary on the ground coordination for the daily operations and special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will exercise good judgment, discretion, and flexibility in your approach. You will be proactively anticipating the needs of the teams that you support. You are a problem solver who can multi-task with ease.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2-3 years related work experience in office management or project management.
  • Positive attitude, professional, highly motivated, and able to easily build relationships across multiple functions and locations.
  • Proactive with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
  • Exceptional organizational skills, prioritization, project coordination, and intuitive attention to detail
  • Skilled at verbal, written, and interpersonal communication to all levels of employees within the company.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • UKG experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and within a team as well as thrive in an autonomous environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, a willingness to ask hard questions when necessary to ensure efficient use of time & resources.
  • Bi-lingual/multi-lingual experience a plus
  • You’re no hero – You know the power of teamwork and celebrate the work of others before your own.
  • You give a sh*t – You believe in acting like an owner and making Vital Farms a place to be proud of.
  • You raise the standards – You know growth can be hard, but you strive to improve yourself and others each day.
  • You can walk in someone else’s boots – You seek to understand other’s viewpoints and think that you get to better answers by sitting on the same side of the table.
  • You don’t walk on eggshells – You’re not afraid to leave the bullsh*t behind and have honest conversations.
  • We recognize that talent comes in many forms. Even if you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. You may have strengths we haven’t yet considered!

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
