About the role: As a Curriculum and Learning Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Campus Success and have the opportunity to shape the development of thousands of young learners and teachers. Combining early childhood education and curricular expertise with the ability to create effective training experiences and materials, you will help ensure all Vivvi programs are truly world class. Responsibilities
As a Curriculum and Learning Manager, you will…
- Be the internal expert on child development, emergent curriculum, teaching, and training at Vivvi
- Update and refine all standard templates, playbooks, and training materials to meet the highest quality standards
- Actively engage with the early childhood community locally and nationally to remain on the cutting edge of best practices and research in the fields of early childhood and adult learning; share learnings internally to improve teaching quality network wide
- Offer hands-on support, coaching, and modeling for teachers and leaders across our campuses
- Provide leadership and guidance with respect to evaluations and recommendations for children with particular needs
- Set standards and protocols for lesson planning, events, kindergarten exmissions, and more
- Plan and execute various training and teacher support programs with clear learning objectives, both live and asynchronous; own and oversee Vivvi’s Learning Management System
- Own the educator training experience quality and efficacy through the employee life cycle: from initial onboarding through promotions and leadership roles
- Develop assessment tools to measure quality of teaching and learning and continuous improvement processes to ensure programs are effective and well-liked
- Communicate Vivvi’s educational philosophy to external audiences as appropriate
Qualifications
You are set up for success in the Curriculum and Learning Manager role if you have…
- At least five years of teaching experience
- Demonstrated track record of successfully coaching and developing teachers
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development: Reggio Emilia, Montessori and emergent curriculum for early childhood and inquiry based learning
- Experience facilitating teacher professional development across multiple sites
- Ability to produce high quality training materials and curricular content
- Collaborative approach; able to build relationships across teams
- Familiarity with common technologies used in education and with virtual facilitation; Learning Management System experience strongly preferred

Ability to work in our Tribeca office and/or be present on our NYC-area campuses 3-4 days per week required. Candidates must possess independent US work authorization.
