Vixxo is seeking a full-time Power BI Developer to be based in Scottsdale, AZ.

THE ROLE

Join the VixxoLens BI squad to turn sprint stories and support tickets into high‑impact Power BI visuals. Ideal for early‑career talent (2–3 years) eager to grow in a fast‑moving, business‑facing environment. The role has a strong emphasis on experimentation and prototyping new metrics, creativity and outside the box thinking is highly valued. A successful candidate will have the mentality of an “owner” who is heavily invested in the platforms performance and takes pride in driving adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sprint & Ticket Execution – Deliver new report pages, enhancements, and bug fixes from ADO stories; communicate resolution status clearly.
  • Report & Dashboard Design – Build engaging layouts, drill‑through paths, and KPI visualizations aligned to Vixxo design standards.
  • DAX & Data Modeling – Author measures, calculated columns, and manage relationships in shared datasets; ensure query performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Clarify requirements with Operations and Service Provider Management; participate in demos and user acceptance.
  • Quality Assurance – Validate results against Oracle OCI views; participate in peer reviews and deployment checks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3 years professional experience building Power BI reports/dashboards.
  • Working knowledge of DAX and dimensional/semantic modeling.
  • Strong design sense and attention to detail; able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic SQL for ad‑hoc validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Exposure to Business Objects or Infoburst.
