Business Development Director
Vixxo is seeking a full-time Business Development Director to work out of our Scottsdale, AZ office.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Director will own and scale Vixxo’s Coffee Maintenance Strategy, leading the growth of an expanding business line at the intersection of business development, customer success, and operations. This role acts as the general manager of the strategy, adhering to P&L goals, go-to-market execution, and partnering on the operational delivery.
This leader will drive customer acquisition and growth across coffee equipment OEMs, distributors, and franchised QSR operators. They will ensure service delivery excellence across installations, maintenance, and pilot programs, while developing scalable commercial channels to meet rising demand.

Vixxo is expanding into new verticals with its coffee maintenance solutions to capture a fast-growing market segment that is growing at double digits annually. Vixxo already services the largest corporate coffee houses nationwide with 200+ coffee equipment technicians on staff and is piloting programs with market-leading clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development & Growth:
- Drive customer acquisition with coffee equipment OEMs, distributors, and QSR operators.
- Convert pilots into long-term contracts and expand wallet share with existing customers.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging Salesforce and Vixxo’s GTM model.
- Collaborate with Corporate Development on strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities to expand the technician base or service offerings.
Customer Success & Operations:
- Maintain a results-driven mindset aligned to customer P&L, revenue growth, and margin performance goals. Partner with the teams to ensure SLA adherence.
- Partner with the Projects and Ops teams to ensure the execution of installations, maintenance programs, and pilot projects.
- Partner with Service Provider Management and Field Operations to ensure technician training, coverage, and quality.
- Act as the escalation point for customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and renewals.
Strategy & Market Development:
- Shape and refine Vixxo’s coffee service solution based on customer feedback and market needs.
- Monitor industry trends (smart coffee equipment, bean-to-cup, sustainability) to ensure Vixxo stays ahead.
- Develop scalable playbooks for sales, onboarding, and operations.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on financial performance, pipeline progress, and customer health.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in business development, operations, or general management roles in B2B services, facilities management, food & beverage equipment, or adjacent industries.
- Demonstrated success in building and driving profitable growth.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to sell into coffee equipment OEMs, distributors, and multi-site facility operators.
- Operational execution mindset with experience managing service delivery at scale.
- Comfort with building new business lines or scaling pilots into recurring revenue streams.
- Strong relationship management skills with C-suite executives, procurement leaders, and operations stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter, comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias to action.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be proficient in AI / LLM applications such as OpenAI, Gemini, Co-Pilot, and others.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
Travel:
Up to 25% travel to customer and partner sites.
