As a Senior eCommerce Data Analyst at Vizit, you'll serve as a data-driven strategic partner to our customer success team. In partnership with Customer Success Managers and Account Managers, you will engage with Vizit customer teams to validate success through sophisticated analysis and causal inference methodologies. In this customer-facing role, you'll design and execute A/B tests, analyze complex datasets, and translate technical findings demonstrating Vizit's impact on our customers' eCommerce performance.

This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with Fortune 500 brands while working cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, and Sales teams. You'll lead data strategy discussions with customers, present insights to stakeholders at all levels, and be instrumental in quantifying Vizit's ROI for our enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with exceptional customer communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment where learning and innovation are constant.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection and maintenance of customers’ eCommerce data necessary to track their performance.
  • Assist the customer success team, along with their brands, in validating the Vizit insights in action.
    • Validation studies can include A/B Tests, Diff-in-Diff analyses, and more. Your job will be to prescribe the right framework and execute the analysis from start to finish.
  • Design and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to derive insights from past experiments from customers.
  • Gather, process, and manage data across multiple internal and third-party data sources, if required.
  • Accurately and efficiently communicate experimental findings to industry leading brands and brand professionals.
  • Work with the research team to analyze eCommerce data and develop new machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize data infrastructure and pipeline.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computational Social Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related)
  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, with proven expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience implementing validation protocols for machine learning models
  • Track record of leading A/B tests and experimental design in eCommerce or digital marketing contexts
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple customer relationships and delivering data-driven recommendations

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience with causal inference methodologies and experimental design
  • Proficiency in building and validating machine learning models
  • Strong background in data visualization and presentation of analytical findings
  • Expertise in data pipeline development and management
