Sr Art Director

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sr Art Director (+ Sr Copywriter) who’s looking to do the best work of their careers to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will have a strong creative vision, exceptional skills, and the ability to work seamlessly to produce world-class work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic direction into compelling visual content and campaigns across various mediums, including broadcast, OLV, and digital, and working across owned properties.
  • Collaborate with a Sr Copywriter partner to develop and refine impactful and cohesive creative concepts.
  • Adapt to creative direction and deliver high-quality work quickly to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all designs and layouts adhere to the client's brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Research to inform, inspire, and elevate creative ideas.
  • Develop presentation decks and present concepts to clients.
  • Support campaign asset creation, including the creation of director and photography briefs, curating assets, overseeing edits and post-production, and retouching.
  • Coordinate with teams to manage production and authoring of online assets. 
  • Nurture the creative growth of the team and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as an art director within an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing various projects and mediums across both traditional and digital spaces.
  • Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to recognize and appreciate design, with a knowledge of design principles.
  • Well-versed in the latest social media trends, including platform-specific creative.
  • A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and simultaneously manage and deliver multiple projects.
  • A passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate your ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • A receptive and reasoned approach to client and internal feedback.
  • The ability to create and execute ideas efficiently and in an organized manner.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.

$65,000 - $115,000 CAD
