The opportunity:

We are looking for a superstar Social Strategist to primarily support several world-renowned clients with their social media and commerce strategies to create a best-in-class social commerce experience. Your expertise in crafting sound social media strategies will allow you to successfully support faced paced clients’ needs to create a robust and customer first omnichannel approach which incorporates social channels into their wider balanced commerce strategy, looking for inspiring innovative and creative ways for consumers to connect and make purchases via social platforms.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support Head of Social and the team with Social Strategy engagements for clients, working closely with key client stakeholders to discover, define, deliver and drive social engagements to help accelerate their business and improve ROI.
  • Support wider team with key RFPs, client proposals and pitches, leading in the delivery and presentation to potential clients where applicable.
  • Define and develop key strategic activities alongside clients, to support with the management of the social functions internally, defining key KPIs and metrics to measure conversion and engagement, and provide strategic thinking on why social is adding value.
  • Work closely with the Head of Social to ensure a holistic approach to all planning and activity.
  • Be confident to support in leading the delivery of key social projects for clients, acting as a key client contact and providing an end-to-end strategic solutions to improve their social strategies.
  • Work alongside a client’s eCommerce, creative and marketing teams to craft overall strategic vision and digital and social platform content strategies, bringing creative vision to life through exceptional content
  • Work alongside social commerce partners and other key team members to successfully execute client engagements in all aspects of social

What we want from you:

  • Good understanding of working with social media, social platforms and social strategy. Previous experience with Paid Social and/or Performance Marketing is desirable.
  • Experience of working with global brands from a digital perspective
  • Strong organisational, project management and time management skills to be able to organise and execute multiple simultaneous projects deadlines.
  • Ability to lead and deliver projects and present strategic thinking on a regular basis
  • Confident in presenting to a room of senior level executives
  • Highly consultative and confident in recommending creative solutions to clients
  • Confident and persuasive, with good presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow, actively acquiring further knowledge about social media, digital and commerce, and being able to apply this expertise to provide a best in class experience to clients.

If you know some of this, even better:

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Communications or Business
  • Experience in digesting, interpreting and responding to client briefs in a fast paced environment
  • Previous experience working in an agency
