The opportunity:

Are you passionate about ensuring flawless user experiences through rigorous testing methodologies? Join our team to define and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies for our suite of marketing process applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability and performance!

What will your day look like?

As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll lead our quality assurance efforts for our marketing process applications, from content briefing through CRM and paid media automation. Working closely with the Lead Software Application Architect and development teams, you'll establish testing frameworks, automation strategies, and quality gates to ensure our Vue 3 SPAs and .NET 9 backends deliver exceptional experiences to our clients.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and quality assurance processes across our application ecosystem
  • Design, create, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and other modern testing frameworks
  • Implement end-to-end testing for content workflows from the WYSIWYG editor through various marketing automation tools
  • Establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and prevent regression issues
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases covering functional, performance, and user experience requirements
  • Develop and implement API testing strategies for .NET 9 backend services
  • Set up cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences
  • Implement visual regression testing for our Vue 3 Single Page Applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to foster a "quality first" mindset and implement testing at all stages
  • Design and execute performance and load testing to ensure applications scale properly
  • Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and results reporting
  • Analyze test results to identify patterns in defects and suggest improvements
  • Stay current with industry best practices and testing technologies, recommending improvements to our QA processes
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on testing strategies and implementation

Who are you going to work with?

You'll join our Experience Studio team in Copenhagen and Madrid, working closely with a team of.Net Backend Developers, Front-end Developer, DevOps Engineers and a Software Architect. You'll be integral to our collaborative environment that creates innovative marketing technology solutions, ensuring our applications meet the highest quality standards.

What do you bring to the table?

You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality. You understand the importance of balancing manual and automated testing approaches and can effectively communicate testing outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

More specifically, you have:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software QA engineering, with at least 3 years of experience with modern web application testing
  • Strong expertise in test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or similar modern testing frameworks
  • Experience testing Single Page Applications, preferably with Vue.js (v3)
  • Proficiency in writing test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies (JMeter, k6, etc.)
  • Experience with database testing and data validation techniques
  • Familiarity with containerized application testing

Ideally you also have:

  • Understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and experience with tools like Cucumber
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG compliance verification
  • Understanding of security testing principles and tools
  • Experience testing CMS systems, WYSIWYG editors, and marketing automation platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge of testing in Azure cloud environments is beneficial
