The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Application Architect to lead the technical vision and roadmap for a suite of advanced applications built on .NET and Vue 3, hosted in Azure. These applications empower global marketing professionals to plan, brief, quality-assure, and execute personalized marketing campaigns across owned and paid media channels. Leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML technologies for generative, predictive, and automation capabilities, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of global marketing technology.
What you'll be doing:
- Technical Leadership:
- Define and own the architectural vision and roadmap for the application suite, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering best practices in software engineering and agile methodologies.
- Solution Design:
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET and Vue 3 in an Azure cloud environment. Additionally Python 3.x and Google Cloud Platform are being used.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, incorporating AI/ML technologies for enhanced functionality.
- Cloud Technology Expertise:
- Optimize application architecture for Azure, leveraging services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Azure AI/ML tools.
- Ensure robust DevOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring practices to maintain high system reliability and performance.
- AI/ML Integration:
- Drive the integration of AI/ML features for generative content creation, predictive analytics, and process automation.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build and operationalize machine learning models.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs.
- Act as the technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Uphold software quality through rigorous code reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to engineering design principles.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and industry standards.
What you should have:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience designing and developing applications with .NET and modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue 3).
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise in Azure cloud services and architectures.
- AI/ML Familiarity:
- Experience with implementing AI/ML solutions for generative, predictive, or automation purposes is a significant advantage.
- Development Practices:
- Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- ‘Get-things done’ attitude – look for opportunities to move the needle and don’t wait for someone to take the decision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Azure Architecture or related fields.
- Familiarity with marketing technologies, tools, and workflows.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a global organization.
- Some experience of CMS and Umbraco
