IT Support Intern
THE ROLE: IT Support INTERN
OLLY is looking for an intern to join our Tech and Data Team! The candidate should be interested in technology, troubleshooting, systems support and learning how IT
enables teams across the business.
In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of working with the IT Support team, from getting your hands dirty building laptops and maintaining hardware/software
inventory, to collaborating cross-functionally with other teams to identify and fix inefficient workflows. This role involves investigating common technical issues, analyzing
support trends, and helping improve the overall employee technology experience. You will help uncover valuable insights and opportunities to strengthen OLLY’s IT
ecosystem, ensuring our teams stay productive and supported. Want to have tremendous impact? This role could be for you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Build, deploy, and retire laptops within the guidelines of the VMS Hardware Lifecycle Framework
•Hardware Inventory: Help clean up and organize our inventory system to ensure it produces accurate and reliable reports
•Software Management: Assist with access requests, license tracking, and general software management processes
•Documentation: Create and/or improve existing documentation for our IT Knowledge Base; remove outdated content and update workflows
•Collaboration: Work with other departments to identify pain points in their internal workflows and gather user feedback on the employee tech experience
•Operational Support: Provide hands-on support for occasional IT operational projects, including workplace technology transitions and end-of-life hardware processes
