THE ROLE: BRAND INTERN
OLLY is seeking a summer intern to join our Brand Team and support high‑impact strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diving into data,analyzing competitive landscapes, and exploring the evolving world of Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS). The internship will focus on understanding howcredibility, efficacy, and scientific rigor show up across the VMS category—and how OLLY can continue to strengthen its position while staying true to its distinctive,benefit‑led brand. The intern will help assess competitive approaches, evaluate OLLY’s portfolio and recent performance, and synthesize insights into clear,actionable recommendations that support future innovation, brand positioning, and growth initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful brandevolution work and help shape how OLLY shows up for consumers in the years ahead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct category and competitive analysis within the vitamins, minerals, and supplements (VMS) space to identify emerging trends, key claims, and brandstrategies, with a focus on separating meaningful innovation from market noise.
- Assess the OLLY portfolio and recent performance to identify areas of strength and opportunity, including where OLLY may be under‑indexed versus competitorsacross product, messaging, or perceived efficacy.
- Synthesize insights from competitive activity, internal launches, and market performance to develop clear implications for Brand and Sales teams, includingidentifying which opportunities warrant action and which do not.
- Support the development of strategic recommendations related to future innovation, brand positioning, and retail growth opportunities, grounded in data,consumer needs, and competitive context.
- Partner cross‑functionally (Science, Product, Consumer Experience, Creative, Regulatory, Sales) to pressure‑test insights and help translate analysis intoactionable next steps.

PREFERRED MAJORS + HELPFUL COURSEWORK:
- Actively pursuing a degree in Business Administration (any concentration) or similar
- Helpful courses: Communications, Data Analytics, Marketing
THE DETAILS
LOCATION: Bay Area, CA
HOURS: Full time, non-exempt (hourly) / 40 hours per week
MANAGER: Sr. Associate Brand Manager
