Engineering Manager
Role summary
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team building voice-AI-powered TV experiences for platforms like Roku and Fire TV. You'll set clear goals, guide execution, and support your team’s success while working closely with product, design, data, and business teams to stay aligned. Your role includes removing obstacles, improving processes, and ensuring reliable, high-quality applications, all while fostering innovation and learning. As we expand our game portfolio, this is a great opportunity to make an impact and help shape the future of voice-activated gaming.
This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 3 times per week (MWF) and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.

- 2+ years leading high-performing engineering teams with proven impact.
- 6+ years as a developer; bonus for game dev or complex platform experience.
- Technical credibility in leading teams and building scalable architectures.
- Strong product sense with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
- Creative problem solver who leads execution and thrives in ambiguity.

Your first 90 days
- Build relationships with your team and partners, establishing regular 1:1s.
- Gain hands-on experience by shipping a feature or fixing a bug.

For Pay Transparency: The salary range that we expect to pay for this position is $166,881-$208,601 annually. This is a portion of the pay band for the role and level we are seeking. The final offer amount will depend on experience, education and skills. Base pay is only one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work
