Senior Alliance Partner Director (Partnerships)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual ready to lead emerging strategic partnerships and support our growing Channel and Alliances team.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience operating within a SaaS industry, preferably in the ServiceNow, Microsoft, Google or AWS ecosystems,

 

This is an opportunity to be responsible for shaping the way Vonage goes to market for both strategy and field in our emerging market partners.

 

If you are highly motivated, self starting, strategic thinker who can problem solve and can maintain a high level perspective. Who can deliver on key strategic projects, work across multiple stakeholders and deliver pipeline, and bookings quotas across the emerging markets ecosystem from idea though execution. Ability to understand and articulate the value of the differentiation of Vonage in each ecosystem.

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Drive operational rhythm including pipeline, forecasting, Executive Briefing templates, reporting, cultivating and executing weekly leadership / staff meetings, quarterly all hands, off-sites, and regular cadences with peers and executive leadership. 
  • Identify opportunities for operational excellence that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
    Prepare executive level communications and presentations to outline strategic insights, recommendations and outcomes   
  • Support meeting preparation, follow-ups and ensuring that  actions are completed 
  • Collaborate and coordinate across multiple cross functional businesses and stakeholders across the emerging partner ecosystem and more broadly throughout Vonage to achieve results
    Create strong cross-functional relationships with key business partners across the sales, customer success, corporate strategy and product organizations 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel and alliance sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and support for channel and alliance initiatives.
  • Provide training, support, and resources to partners to ensure their success.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Engage with and support business partners across significant and complex product and project areas.
  • Provide guidance and consulting for new and existing partners and customers, helping drive performance and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Establish regular interlocks across internal and partner resources on alliance strategy, milestones and projected results.
  • Support implementation of Vonage / partner go-to-market strategies.
  • Seek opportunities to boost incremental sales and develop new sales pipelines.
  • Perform metric-driven analysis of marketing relationships and effectiveness.
  • Provide detailed resource and budgetary input to support both Vonage and partner planning and allocation processes.
  • Execute against established relationship / sales / revenue goals.
  • Recommend and support implementation of recommendations to streamline, enhance and make Partnership Management more efficient and effective.



Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting or strategic projects in a Software/SaaS technology company; prior experience as a business manager or consultant preferred. 
  • Evidence of having established programmatic efforts that span across functions  
  • Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing  
  • Highly analytical and intellectually curious about data analysis, trends, and insight generation  
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and manage multiple extended or virtual teams. 
  • Collaborative team player who also knows how to ‘get things done’. 
  • Ability to learn quickly on a fast-paced team including highly technical areas. 
  • Ability to handle interpersonal relationships professionally, and empathetically. 
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
