Why this role Matters:
Vonage has established a Data Governance Office (DGO) to drive and maintain effective data governance across the organization. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Change Manager to join this team. This role will be crucial in supporting change and communication strategies for key DGO projects to ensure successful adoption of data governance principles. The role will report to the Data Governance Lead.
The Change Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs to support the adoption of data governance initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with data teams, business stakeholders, and communication departments to ensure that all changes are effectively communicated and managed. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, influencer, and change agent with a strong understanding of data governance.
Your key responsibilities:
- Change Management Strategy: Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of data governance initiatives, including identifying key stakeholders, assessing change impact, and developing mitigation plans.
- Communication Planning: Develop and execute communication plans to effectively communicate data governance initiatives to employees, and other stakeholders.
- Training Programs: Design and deliver change training programs to support change initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure their understanding and support for data initiatives.
- Resistance Management: Identify and address resistance to change by developing and implementing effective communication and training strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the adoption and effectiveness of initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Project Support: Provide change management support for key DGO projects, including the implementation of new data governance processes and technologies.

- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective communication and training programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving regulatory and corporate environment.
- Experience with change management methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR or Kotter's 8-Step Change Model is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Change Management, Communications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience supporting a data governance role or supporting data-related projects.
