Java Software Engineer

What you'll do

In this position, you will be using Java and the latest technologies such as: AWS, Terraform, micro-service architecture, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes… etc.

You will develop and maintain services (primarily in Java) that support our next-generation communications platform.  We challenge our engineers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward.

What you'll bring

• You have at least 3-5 years of software development experience and you know the Linux environment.
• Writing clean and documented code
• Effectively participating in code reviews and design sessions and implementing feedback and learnings.
• You have the ability to troubleshoot and fix bugs and code issues under the guidance of more experienced team members.

Qualities about You That Might Make our Decision Easier:

• Understanding of SDLC, especially in Agile software development methodology: Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• A great recommendation from your previous employer.
• A desire and skills for learning from senior team members and taking your career to the next level.
• Passion for coding and learning new skills.
