 Why this role matters:

We are looking for an innovative, and self-motivated Demand Generation Specialist to drive the organic social media strategy and execution for Vonage. This role is instrumental in building our brand presence, engaging our global audience, and supporting our communications and event initiatives across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage all aspects of organic social media, ensuring alignment with our business goals, voice, and tone.

As a Demand Generation Specialist, you will also play a crucial role in supporting Vonage’s, bottom of funnel and ABM campaigns. You will work closely with all digital media managers across paid social, display, and affiliate/CSE marketing. 

This role will be the backbone of process building for the DG team, reporting structure along with budget and procurement support.  

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of digital media best practices, channels and project management skills.  

 What you will do:

Organic Social Media Strategy - 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy that aligns with Vonage's brand and business goals.
  • Responsible for updating and tracking Social Media calendars, publishing posts, and reporting.
  • Partner with Communications, Events, Brand and Content team, along with other teams to source, create, and curate engaging content for all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Manage day-to-day organic social media posting, scheduling, and monitoring across all platforms.
  • Ensure proper QA of all tracking tags across Social & Display.
  • Track, analyze, and report on organic social performance metrics, using insights to refine strategies and demonstrate the impact of social initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices to keep Vonage at the forefront of digital engagement.

 Demand Generation - 

  • Support the execution and optimization of affiliate / Comparison shopping engines (CSEs).
  • Evaluate CSEs based on factors such as traffic volume, audience relevance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support CSE expansion and growth globally ensuring cost/pipeline efficiencies.
  • Optimize landing pages on CSEs to improve click-through rates and conversion rates. Test different messaging, images, and offers to identify top-performing variations and enhance overall campaign performance.
  • Experiment with new tactics across digital media, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization techniques to maximize channel effectiveness.
  • New channel support and testing - support lead generation proof of concepts, testing lead generation programs with new vendors.

 Budgeting and reporting -

  • Support the DG finance Peer to Peer Champion across PO/IO consolidation with our annual budget sheets.
  • Support the MAF process across DG channels and our third party agencies. 
  • Help define and enhance demand generation analysis, reporting tools, dashboards and analytical techniques where applicable.
  • Monitor reports and information to identify trends, issues and challenges, preparing reports for management and recommending areas for improvement & optimizations.
  • Support team efforts to assess the effectiveness of channel mix efforts and identify improved methods, information sources and strategies.

 What you will bring:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Demand Generation, Marketing, Social media or related discipline.
  • Prior experience 4+ in a Marketing, Demand Generation.

 Desirable

  • Experience in social media management, with a proven track record in driving organic social growth and engagement on a global scale.
  • Detailed project management and organization skills across multiple tasks and timelines. 
  • Strong proficiency with marketing tools, such as SFDC, 6sense, Madison Logic, Monday.com, Tableau.
  • Deep understanding of attribution modeling and the demand funnel and KPI tracking and optimization
  • Hands on approach to lead generation - both strategic thinker but also ability to execute and optimize 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening.
