Why this role matters:

As a Vonage software engineer who expertise in the Salesforce platform, you will build the infrastructure and business logic for the next-generation company business support systems. You will be in charge of developing software solutions that support our millions of users and businesses across the globe while allowing the company to grow and expand. You will be the architect, designer, and coder of your project, and take part in developing next-generation systems. We challenge our engineers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Take ownership of the full application development cycle – from requirements gathering to production deployment
  • Build infrastructure and business logic for next-generation business support systems
  • Contribute to global-scale systems supporting millions of users and businesses
  • Work with Java, Apex, and modern technologies such as AWS, micro-service architecture, MongoDB, and Docker
  • Innovate and propose disruptive solutions to business problems
  • Lead projects with end-to-end ownership while collaborating across teams

What you'll bring

Required:

  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in Apex, Vlocity and Linux environments
  • Experience with Java, AWS
  • Strong ability to independently manage tasks and challenges
  • Organized, efficient, and versatile approach to problem-solving
  • Passion for tackling new technologies and pushing innovation forward

Experience we consider a plus:

  • LWC framework, CPQ, or Einstein experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Strong recommendations from past employers
