Why this role matters:

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong technical project management expertise to join our Engineering organization. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring our software engineering projects are delivered with clarity, alignment, and impact.

You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced, large-scale environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into complex technical problems, shaping solutions, and ensuring projects land successfully.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, and risks early in the planning process.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product managers to ensure that requirements and impact are documented in a clear, transparent way.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional engineering projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and communicate status effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with software engineers, architects, and engineering managers to understand system designs, technical trade-offs, and implementation approaches.
  • Act as a bridge between engineering teams and business units, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and outcomes.
  • Produce clear project documentation, reports, and dashboards for executive visibility.

What you'll bring

Required:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid role in a large engineering or software organization.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, SDLC, APIs, cloud-native systems, and modern delivery practices (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent skills in requirements gathering, documentation, backlog management, and prioritization.
  • Strong communication skills: able to translate technical detail into business terms and vice versa.
  • Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello).
