This role sits at the intersection of technology, business development, and customer success and focuses on driving adoption and value for Vonage’s Network APIs program globally. 

By combining deep subject matter expertise in fraud prevention, detection, and authentication with hands-on consultative support, you will deliver measurable client success pre- and post-sales. Acting as both educator and advocate, the role bridges Product, Marketing, and Sales, shaping roadmaps with real customer insight while amplifying Vonage’s leadership in the industry through thought leadership, content creation, and public speaking. 

Ultimately, it ensures Vonage solutions not only meet market needs but also set new standards for innovation and trust.

Your key responsibilities:

Customer Experience

  • Act as SME for NW-API across Enterprise Sales, Partnerships, Alliances, and Solution Engineers globally (EMEA, US, APAC).
  • Drive client success pre- and post-sales through consultative engagement, applying expertise in fraud prevention, detection and authentication.
  • Provide thought leadership and education to Product, Marketing, and Client teams on industry trends, use cases, GTM strategy and best practices.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of NW-API platforms/solutions and communicate value propositions as a recognised industry leader.
  • Partner with Product Management on strategic roadmaps, leveraging client input, industry trends, and competitive insights.
  • Capture and synthesise learnings from PoCs, deployments, and client feedback into product requirements and enhancements.
  • Serve as customer advocate, ensuring client needs are communicated across the organisation.
  • Create thought leadership content (blogs, whitepapers, etc.) and represent the company as a speaker/panelist at industry events.

Revenue Generation

  • Lead client engagements to operationalise and scale NW-API and fraud prevention solutions, driving new revenue opportunities.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with GTM teams, customers, and prospects, providing expert recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales through discovery, deal execution, and expansion to support growth targets.
  • Contribute to account-specific sales strategies alongside Account Executives.
  • Provide senior-level expertise to strengthen credibility during the sales cycle.
  • Offer strategic insights to accelerate deal cycles and improve sales efficiency.

What you'll bring

  • Exceptional relationship building skills that cultivates trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Applied understanding of the fraud and authentication space, specifically experience in fraud prevention, detection, and authentication techniques to real business use cases
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicating skills and the ability to engage across a wide range of roles and management levels - Developers, Analysts, Product Manager, Directors, SVP/EVP, and C-level individuals
  • Proven business acumen with a problem-solving attitude, situational adaptation and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
  • Strong commercial acumen and challenger mentality with the ability to think outside the box when creating proposals and commercial deal structure.
  • Strong presentation skills with a proven track record of support a sales organization to help facilitate selling/consulting to a network of customers
  • An individual who writes well (blogs, whitepapers, practice guides), is confident in a public setting and can both lead panels/seminars or is welcome as an expert speaker or panelist, representing industry is important
  • 5+ years of combined authentication, fraud prevention, information or strategic planning experience
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
  • Experience articulating a complex problem, design, or build strategy
