Full Stack Engineer III (Vue.js, Python, GCP)

Why this role matters:

We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our expanding Jumper AI / Conversational Commerce platform team. This role requires robust experience in both frontend development (Vue.js / React.js) and backend development (Python, Django / FastAPI / Flask). You will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that power our conversational commerce platform. This platform is used globally by enterprises to provide personalized, omnichannel experiences to their customers.

This position offers the chance to work across the entire technology stack, from crafting intuitive and dynamic user interfaces to building APIs and backend services deployed on Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, data, and DevOps, to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and build interactive, responsive frontend applications using Vue.js, React.js, and modern JavaScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs from Figma into high-quality, production-ready frontend code.
• Architect, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Design and optimize data models, caching strategies, and database queries for performance and scalability.
• Deploy, scale, and operate applications on Google Cloud Platform with a focus on reliability and observability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams; conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll bring

• 5 plus years of hands-on full stack development experience in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js or React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
• Solid backend engineering experience with Python and REST API development.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Redis, or Datastore.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization using OAuth2 / JWT.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence.

Experience we consider a plus:

• Experience building SaaS, e-commerce, or conversational AI platforms.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GCP Cloud Build.
• Experience optimizing frontend performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
• Familiarity with Ionic, AngularJS, or mobile-friendly web frameworks.
