Why this role matters:

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks and SDLC, with focus on Playwright-based test automation across UI and APIs for the 3th Party Integration.

This role combines strong programming skills with a quality-first mindset, ensuring our applications are reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

Your key responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality across the SDLC
• Build and maintain test automation for REST APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., CRM systems)
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Implement end-to-end (E2E), integration, and API tests
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Contribute to shift-left testing practices and quality engineering initiatives
• Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test development
• Support performance and reliability testing where applicable

What you'll bring

Required:

• Hands-on experience as an SDET / Automation Engineer (mid-level)
• Strong experience with Playwright for UI test automation
• Solid programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing (REST, Postman, or similar tools)
• Understanding of test design patterns and automation best practices
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of software testing principles (functional, regression, integration)

Experience we consider a plus:

• Knowledge of contract testing (e.g., Pact)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Exposure to AI-driven testing approaches or self-healing tests
